Staff was super duper nice and the room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. Not really a balcony or terrace, other than the tiny one most places have at the windows in Portugal (not enough to get work done from there for example), but the kitchen was spotless, and the housekeeping did a great job. We don't have kids, but there were many staying at the hotel and they seemed to be having a blast, so it surely seems like it would be a *great* place to take your family. Location was pretty good, though a little steep for me (I was on crutches, which is a tough way to be in Lisbon), but that's not their fault. Hills are kind of a thing in Lisbon. There are several really excellent cafes and restaurants right nearby (even on crutches.) If you want to visit By the Wine, which is very nearby and a little more upscale, you'll probably want to make a reservation, as it gets pretty packed in there.

Excellent location (though note that it is slightly atop a hill, but not the worst one we encountered). This was THE most kid-friendly hotel ever, they thought of literally everything, not just a high chair in the kitchen but little pottys and step stools in the bathroom, not to mention the entire daycare on the first floor. The kids' club is free until 10 pm (!) for older kids, but also super reasonable "creche" or daycare rates for smaller bubs. I was unsure about leaving my guy with strangers in a foreign country but one look at how well thought-out the daycare was and how nice the staff was, no more fears. They had full play areas and even a huge canopy for a sleeping area with several cots, cribs, bassinets, everything. They definitely upgraded our actual apartment and it was HUGE, so much space to spread out and for little guy to run. It was fantastic.

Great value for a 5-star hotel centrally located, with very friendly staff, and big, clean apartment rooms! I was afraid that there is no staff on-site, but to the contrary, there are friendly staff 24/7, very helpful too. There is a restaurant too, so dining is no problem. The room is good size, and there are a lot of facilities for family with kids. The location is very good, and public transportation including metro and ferry are both nearby. Despite the central location, I didn't hear noise at night. I was also able to store my luggage after checking out for free. The breakfast is decent, although I had it in my room so I am guessing you can get even more variety at the restaurant.

This is an awesome hotel, very comfy, stylish and personable. My daughter and I stayed there recently and loved the large rooms, kitchen facilities, friendly staff, breakfasts and dinners were perfect to start and end the day, and the location is excellent. Will definatly stay again and would highly recommend this hidden gem in Lisbon. Perfect for families, or partners, caters for all travelers in a perfect location in the heart of Lisbon.

It is hard to find this spacious room in Lisbon. Room condition is excellent - fully equipped kitchen, tea, coffee capsules, even oil and balsamic. Friendly and helpful staff who can help with dinner recommendations and reservations. Great breakfast is served either in the room or in the cafe. Good powerfull hair dryer!
